Clinical Research Monitor Jobs

A clinical research monitor is responsible for developing and writing trial protocols; presenting trial protocols to a steering committee; designing data collection forms known as case record forms; and coordinating with the ethics committee, which safeguards the rights, safety, and well being of all trial subjects; and managing regulatory authority applications and approvals. The clinical research monitor is also responsible for locating and assessing the appropriateness of facilities at a study center briefing doctors/ consultants on conducting the trial and setting up the study centers.

A clinical research monitor should be a post graduate in the related field. A college degree is generally required, preferably in life science or related field. A clinical research monitor with experience in clinical operations is always preferred. A clinical research monitor should have knowledge in regulatory agreement guidelines and in monitoring functions.
