Clinical Operations Manager / Cardiac UnitDenver, CO, USADepartment:Cardiac and Vascular CenterBachelors degree nursing is required1 years of recent supervisory experience strongly preferred. 3 years of recent full time experience in ED, or cardiac services strongly (link removed)rdiac & Vascular DepartmentFull-time80 hours/pay period (bi-weekly)Day ShiftSummary Seeking experienced RN with critical thinking skill, informal or formal leadership skills and clinical experience in Emergency/ Cardiac Services, Case Management experience and a strong desire to develop systems and process directed at safe and quality patient careSupervises daily staff activities for an assigned nursing area or function.Leadership experience that includes oversight of direct reports, writing/delivering Performance Evaluations, orienting new employees, coach/mentor/train, performance management, staff scheduling, involved with daily clinic/dept. operations, address service recovery/patient complaints, and experience writing protocols, guidelines is a plus!Job DutiesDetermines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels. Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Nursing.3 years nursing experience.State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will need to be through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.)Preferred1 year of supervisory experience.
