Description We are recruiting for a Consultant Business Analyst to join our Information Systems Department in Louisville, KY. Summary: Responsible for the evaluation of business directives and incorporating IS solutions to meet business goals, objectives and strategies that involve highly complex systems. Essential Functions: Leads cross-functional teams in identifying and validating an opportunity to improve or repair business operations of the organization or a deficiency related to a business need. Advises, oversees and supports the project team with analyzing the business need and all feasible technical, business processes and commercial alternatives to meet the business need. Provides project team with ideas and approaches to determine and analyze project risks, alternatives, and plan development to mitigate those risks. Directs and coordinates overall work of Business Analyst team members as they collect, document, analyze, verify, communicate, and test business solutions. Creates and supports high-level models to identify and validate business processes and solutions. Directs internal and consulting resources to achieve project milestones. Manages change communication and coordination activities with end-user training for system implementations. Continually demonstrates expertise with IS methodologies and processes (i.e. Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle and IS Change Management process). Encourages project team members to follow Kindred IS methodologies and processes. Provides feedback to manager on departmental personnel accomplishments and successes with project contributions. Participates in industry and other professional Business Analyst networks to ensure awareness of industry standards, trends and best practices in order to strengthen the project team and organizational knowledge. Minimum 5 years experience required in a clinical setting, preferably in the Health Care industry. Minimum 3 years experience in the following: project management, analysis, and Quality Assurance. Preferred knowledge in budgetary guidelines implementation, and systems installation. Business Analyst and Project Management Professional certification preferred.
