PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provides detailed technical knowledge and support for PowerChart and a broad range of computer technologies used by doctors, nurses, and ambulatory office staff, for the purpose of supporting end-users. Participates in implementations of standard computer applications by providing go-live support. Observes and enhances the Information Services policies and procedures to ensure appropriate levels of customer service satisfaction for all end-user departments. Provides first-line support, during specific hours, for applications used by providers. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides technical knowledge and on-site support for all end-user applications. Troubleshoots end-user problems for all technical platforms used by doctors, nurses, and ambulatory office staff. Maintains the helpdesk application to ensure problem determination\/resolution methods are efficient and reliable. Utilizes and enhances the knowledge base of technology and application information, and ensures documentation is up to date. Ensures that problems are solved adequately, and that end-users are satisfied with Information Service results. Requests and initiates follow-up on customer feedback. Develops feedback to management concerning customer service levels. Keeps abreast of new technologies and applications. Provides training to and attends training with other Support Center and Associate Support Center Analysts. Performs standard technology implementations and ensures adequate knowledge transfer and training has been received. Offers input to management on performance of project analysts. Manages and assists with the troubleshooting and problem resolution tasks of the Associate Support Center Analysts on a daily basis. Identifies and pursues opportunities for improving customer service. Investigates and implements ideas that can provide enhancements and efficiencies in supporting end-users. Identifies problem trends and looks for root cause of problems, rather than applying short-term fixes. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor\u2019s degree or commensurate experience in a discipline related to information technology and end-user support. Demonstrated, from past work experiences, the breadth and depth of knowledge to support a complex, dynamic information organization. Previous employment or experience in a clinical work setting is preferred. PowerChart experience is a strong plus.
