SharePoint Developer - Sr Applications Systems Analyst

The Senior Applications Systems Analyst in the Clinical Research Support Center at MD Anderson Cancer Center designs, implements, supports and sustains the SharePoint sites of both multicenter collaboration (external) and clinical research (internal). The Senior Applications Systems Analyst identifies and analyzes the collaboration requirements for clinical trial management, data reporting, document management and key performance indicators (KPI).
This position is responsible for creating SharePoint solutions including development of Website, Web parts, InfoPath forms, document libraries, lists, workflows, content management, team Sites, workflows and etc. The work also involves working closely with the SharePoint group in defining solution scope and planning the infrastructure. Close coordination with all personals of scientists, nurses, managers, and providing detail specifications.
The ideal candidate must possess excellent knowledge and experience in the SharePoint platform, including client site development and central server administration functions. Must be fluent in SharePoint development on Website, Web parts integration, stylesheet, HTML, troubleshooting, security, upgrading and migration. Must be capable of conducting user training and requirement assessment. Hands on experience in SharePoint platform is a must.
Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio environment, hands on experience in developing ASP.NET Web/Form applications, Web Services, SQL Server integration is expected.
The ideal candidate must be a quick learner and able to independently work with delivery timelines.
Excellent skills in data entry user interaction design, layout polish, and data validation are required.
Experience in computer programming including C# or VB and Java script languages is required.
Familiarity with PL/SQL query and ability to interface with SharePoint applications are expected.
Understanding relational data table structure in either SQL Server or Oracle environment is required.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written. The candidate will be capable of working with cross-departmental efforts to provide complete solutions in clinical and research trial management applications.
Good knowledge in relational database design, modeling and implementation in either SQL Server or Oracle environment is needed for this position.
Minimum: $78,800 Midpoint: $98,500 Maximum: $118,200
Required: Bachelor's degree.
Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information System or related fields is preferred.
Required: Five years of experience in Epic software, domain, analysis, design, project management, or programming. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis or completed years of college on a one to one basis.
Preferred: Five or more years of experience with software development activities in full life cycle of application design, development and implementation. Experience in clinical research applications is a plus. In-depth knowledge and skills in SharePoint platform is a must.
