Works in collaboration with Clinical Business Manager (CBM), Division Managers, and Advanced Wound Management Sales Account Representatives to ensure a coordinated effort is mobilized towards meeting sales and clinical educational objectives. The CRC utilizes experience to build relationships with key clinical and economic decision makers to drive adoption of focus products. The CRC works with CBM and cross-functional teams to develop customer focused-centered programs and to provide clinical field resource, and product-clinical education. The CRC acts within the scope of corporate objectives and policies to accomplish goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned \u00a0Business Development \u2022 Collaborates with Divisional Managers and Sales Representatives to develop business plans, clinical\/educational strategies and tactical implementation plans for assigned target accounts. \u2022 Works with CBM to identify priorities for clinical and educational services. Plans, coordinates, and participates in account coverage strategies. \u2022 Collaborates with DMs and Sales Representatives to conduct business reviews for target accounts. \u2022 Drives adoption of empowerment approach for customer education and product training both internally and externally. Advocates for the utilization of multimedia educational resources for customers requesting educational support. \u2022 Identifies and communicates competitive intelligence to Sales, Marketing and Clinical teams. \u2022 Works in conjunction with Clinical and Medical teams in the development of case studies, publication strategy and new product evaluations Customer Account Coordination \u2022 Collaborates with DM and sales representatives to plan, conduct and manage product evaluations and conversions in assigned target accounts. \u2022 Completes assessments of customer needs and resources for clinical education and product training. \u2022 In conjunction with CBM, identifies resources and develops coverage plan and metrics for clinical education and product training in target accounts. \u2022 Collaborates with DM and sales representatives to identify tactics to drive early adoption and account penetration in assigned accounts. \u2022 Utilizes clinical and product portfolio knowledge to conduct consultative calls\/meetings with HCPs and decision makers in all market segments. \u2022 Leverages knowledge of S&N selling process for AWM portfolio of products Education and Product Training \u2022 Maintains comprehensive knowledge of references for clinical research and evidence that supports key marketing messages. \u2022 Maintains comprehensive product knowledge of focus brands. \u2022 Provides educational and clinical resource for advanced wound care portfolio in target accounts. \u2022 Provides formal presentations to a variety of audiences\/venues (corporate, sales, marketing, physicians, high level decision makers) \u2022 Participates with initial and on-going product in-services of acute care, long term care and home care agencies. \u2022 Assesses and triages issues related to product performance and function. Maintains knowledge of formal complaint process. Initiates and completes documentation as appropriate. \u2022 Responds to customer questions\/concerns related to S&N products on challenging\/ complex wounds. \u2022 Provides clinical education and consultation to AWM sale representatives. Relationship Development \u2022 Utilizes clinical expertise and business knowledge to develop and maintain relationships with key clinicians and opinion leaders to establish and drive clinical credibility and adoption of Smith & Nephew products. \u2022 Participates in the identification and development of local and regional Health Care Professionals ensuring their activities are coordinated with the Marketing and Medical Education teams. Compliance, Ethics, and Communication \u2022 Embraces Smith & Nephew Business ethics, adheres to stated corporate compliance policies, represents Smith & Nephew appropriately at all times, and holds direct reports to the same standards. \u2022 Exhibits professionalism with Senior Leadership, marketing peers, direct reports, and all other internal and external customers. \u2022 Communicates effectively both portfolio performance and recommendations of business strategies with Senior Leadership Team and all appropriate levels of the organization. SCOPE OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: For funds, Costs or Profits: Provides feedback on the application of resources to specific initiatives based on skilled interpretation of need in the account and controls their effective and timely development to achieve desired outcome. For Supervision: No direct supervision responsibilities with role. For Internal and External Relationships: Internal Works with all levels of colleagues from functional department personnel, field sales personnel to senior leadership team members. Able to interact with internal personnel in a constructive way that brings relevant experience and feedback to bear on plans and strategy. External The role requires significant interaction with health care professionals and other personnel in medical facilities. The job holder will need to follow proper protocol and engage in appropriate hospital staff interaction. Comfortable interacting with health care professionals, hospital administration, and sales force in a positive manner that represents the corporate image and message at all times, while establishing new contacts and growing existing relationships even further. For Organization Influence: Responsible for determining and communicating the needs of customers including summarizing complex situations, making a case regarding a course of action, negotiating on points of dispute, and relaying information and outcomes to others in a factual and professional manner. Will also be asked to advise on everyday points of procedure, and offer professional advice to clinicians and other Healthcare Professionals, as well as colleagues. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
