Job Summary Manages large multi-phase or multiple projects simultaneously, and provides guidance and training as applicable to other team members. Essential Functions Ensures successful completion of assigned projects, responsible for understanding and applying the IAS PMO standard process and tools with minimal guidance, and suggesting enhancements to the IAS PMO standard process and tools based on PMI Methodology (Waterfall) and previous project management experience. Acts as a change leader for projects involved in, and accepts responsibility and accountability for projects\u2019 results. Leads projects as the \u201cdriver\u201d, with a sense of urgency, assertiveness and persistence, and ensures that tasks are completed on schedule by assigned project team members. Consistently seeking continuous improvement opportunities. Drives project charter\/scope document approvals, leads risk assessment\/register\/planning sessions, ensures documentation of decisions made, distributes concise project status reports, and develops\/maintains Project Schedules and related project management tracking and performance tools. Communicates effectively, both verbally and through writing within the team, within IAS, and with customers. Demonstrates ability to deliver on mutually agreed upon expectations and work effectively through difficult and\/or contentious issues. Develops action plans from meetings and follows through on assigned tasks. Experience with process engineering, problem solving & decision making, critical thinking, change management, and operations management highly desired. Demonstrates knowledge of applications and their integration (interface) with and effect on other systems.\u00a0 Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft PowerPoint and the suite of Microsoft products. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift objects that weigh up to 35 lbs. This position is subject to high-level visibility through verbal and written communications with senior management, associated project deadlines, personnel evaluation, and counseling. Must be available for on-call support on a regular basis. Due to project requirements, overtime will be required, as needed. Education, Experience and Certifications High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Business Administration, or related field preferred. The ideal candidate will have formal training and 5 years of experience as a full-cycle Project Manager, preferably managing software application or similar projects, and an active PMP certification.
