Responsible for assisting in shepherding research grant proposals through the approval and contracting process, ensuring that all approved proposals meet company regulations with guidance from the program manager. Interfaces with cross functional team (clinical, divisional, and external) and acts as liaison with site investigators and study coordinators. Establishes effective communication plan with the Research Grant Committee members and other key stakeholders and provides day-to-day direction to Research Grant Coordinator Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports. Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. Expert knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word .The Clinical Project Manager will manage multiple aspects of research grant program with guidance from Program Manager. Activities can include: Manages planning and communication with Research Grant Committee for review of new proposals and updates on approved studies. Serves as primary contact and resource for Research Grant Coordinator and vendor personnel. Manages research grant portal including rolling out new versions, creating training materials and ensuring data in portal is current and accurate Tracks and reports on the progress of approved research grants including budget and timelines and publications. Works with cross functional team including compliance and legal departments in the review of research grants and performs Fair Market Value analysis on submitted budgets. Maintains up to date knowledge of published literature in relevant therapeutic areas including a broad awareness of neurovascular issues Organizes (or assists with organizing) and participates in meetings - i.e. Research Grant Committee Meetings, Team Meetings, Vendor Meetings, and workshops. Assists in the development of in-house operations SOPs, guidelines and systems Develops and maintains positive relationships both internal and external to project, including site personnel (KOLs, PIs, Study coordinators). Demonstrates thorough knowledge of and coaches others in the appropriate application of clinical research conduct, laws, regulations, and standards, and compliance with applicable SOPs and policies Proactively identifies risks and leads team members to mitigate risks in timely fashion Triage vendor and clinical site questions to Program Manager as appropriate.
