Location: US:WI:MENOMONEE FALLS at our CP-NORTH HILLS HEALTH CENTER facility.
*1.0 FTE is Full-Time, any position less than 1.0 FTE is Part-Time, and .001 FTE is Optional Part-Time*
*Positions with an 'FTE' (full time equivalency) of .875 - 1.0 are eligible for full-time medical, dental and vision benefits. Positions with an 'FTE' of .5 - .874 are eligible for part-time pro-rated medical, dental and vision benefits*
The psychotherapist provides outpatient psychiatric assessment and treatment. Maintains an independent caseload of patients and EAP clients with diverse psychiatric disorders and psycho-social concerns. Provides psychiatric evaluation of patient's presenting issues. Develops appropriate treatment planning to address patients presenting psychiatric disorder and/or psychosocial issue. Utilizes appropriate treatment approach(s) to resolve patient concerns. Monitors patients progress in treatment and adjust therapy accordingly. Completes all written and electronic documentation following clinic protocol and state certification requirements. Participates in regularly scheduled peer collaboration and consults with psychiatrists, system physicians, and clinic supervisor. Other duties as assigned.
A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience (completion of 3000 hours) in psychiatric inpatient or outpatient setting is required. Prefer experience in a clinical setting as a licensed practicing psychotherapist. Master's degree in Social Work or related field is required. Requires current State of Wisconsin license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); will also consider a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Specific clinical training in psychotherapy, psychiatric evaluation and assessment is required. Critical thinking, ability to review both broad and detailed information coming to relevant conclusions, ability to conceptualize, ability to analyze, ability to identify both short and long term goals, ability to utilize communication tools, such as, but not limited to: computer, telephone, voice mail and fax Skills in assessment, relationship formation, recommending and evaluating solutions, and establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
