The Clinic Research Manager is responsible for the oversight of all research clinical site operations and personnel . Essential Job Functions Develops, implements and maintains system-wide procedures for clinical research in collaboration with principal investigators Oversees work of Clinical Research staff ensuring timely and accurate completion of duties Provides leadership in the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical research training, education and orientation program Serves as clinical resource for institutional leadership and investigators related to the ethical conduct of human subjects clinical research Ensures the availability of trained research personnel essential in meeting staffing and other resource needs Directs internal audits and leads response to site visits from external organizations Develops and manages departmental budget Performs other duties and responsibilities assigned Required Experience Bachelor's Degree A minimum of 4 years relevant experience in lieu of degree Preferred Experience Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in leadership, supervisory and/or project management roles required, with supervision and/or leading and monitoring employees Must possess strong critical thinking and decision-making skills as evidenced by proficiency in both oral and written comprehension and expression Research certification (CCRC, CCRP, ACRP or Research Administrator) Ability to facilitate highly functional team(s) toward successful achievement of outcomes within strict timeframes Must possess strong critical thinking and decision-making skills as evidenced by proficiency in both oral and written comprehension and expression Ability and willingness to manage a chaotic work environment related to the rapidly changing industry and the needs of individuals served Experience in Research/Healthcare related field Our employees enjoy many benefits, some of the most popular are tuition reimbursement, hospital retirement contributions, and hospital-supported on-going training and education.
