Job Code: 00954-38589 Full-time No Weekends St. Mark's Hospital provides a full array of services to the surrounding community, including the following service lines: cardiac, NICU, orthopedics, behavioral health, skilled nursing, acute rehab, as well as many others. St. Mark's is the oldest running hospital in Utah with rich traditions and a reputation for excellent patient care and quality outcomes. St. Mark's Hospital is nestled at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains and only a stone's throw away from many national parks, including Moab, Zion, Canyonlands, etc. The Clinical Data Analyst is responsible for performing clinical data analytics creating insight for physicians, clinical staff, improvement advisors, and hospital leaders to support performance improvement. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Master s degree in Public Health or other healthcare data analytic intensive master s program preferred, or currently enrolled and actively pursuing a graduate degree. Experience: * One - three years of clinical or healthcare experience required. * Quality improvement training and experience preferred. * Project management training and experienced preferred. * Basic clerical, statistical and quality review skills required. * Advanced computer skills with knowledge and proficiency in the Microsoft Office programs particularly Excel required. * Information management skills including flowcharting, data analysis and report preparation. * Training and experience in application of rapid cycle improvement. Licensure-Certifications: Certification as Certified Health Data Analyst CHDA by the American Health Information Management Association AHIMA preferred, but not required.
