Array BioPharma is a biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Boulder Colorado, with additional sites in North Carolina and Massachusetts that focus on the discovery, development and commercialization of targeted small molecule drugs to treat patients afflicted with cancer. We are building a fully integrated, commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company and preparing for the approval and launch of binimetinib and encorafenib for the treatment of patients with melanoma.

Consulting Summary:

Array has a part-time need for a strong HEOR consultant. This may be a remote assignment and will take a leading role in developing market access strategies and overseeing reimbursement submissions. This individual will provide direction for the HEOR across targeted treatment therapies. This position will ensure that HEOR perspectives and strategies are represented and will be responsible for the effective development and implementation of global therapeutic product HEOR/value strategies.

Scope of Project:

Responsible for all HEOR research, publications, customer-facing resources for targeted therapies in small molecule Oncology treatments.

Develop and execute HEOR research strategies to support patient access to Array product(s).

Conduct and lead HEOR research on products leading to presentations at prestigious medical meetings and journal publications.

Conduct prospective and retrospective observational studies, cost effectiveness research, comparative effectiveness research, chart reviews, registry trials, patient-reported outcomes research, meta-analyses and systematic reviews.

Manage outcomes research projects and investigator-initiated research proposals.

Assure compliance of evidence-based medicine and principles for economic assessment.

Design customer facing tools such as reactive and proactive (FDAMA 114) presentations to enable customers to comprehend the economic benefits and budget impact.

Developing and presenting HEOR studies to medical specialists at Market Access customers: Payers, Clinical Pathway companies, Federal, State, Group Purchasing Organizations, Pharmacy Benefit Managers, Clinical Pathways companies and other organized customers.

Align all strategies and tools with Medical Affairs, Pricing & Contracting and Marketing.

Skills & Requirements

10 years related experience in clinical research or epidemiology or Medical Affairs, with at least 5 years’ experience in HEOR in Oncology/Hematology

Thorough understanding of industry and regulatory guidelines as they relate to HEOR and Medical Affairs.

Proven record of economic model development

Significant knowledge of U.S. Market Access environment

Proficient in economic evaluation of healthcare

Significant experience in analyzing claims databases and EMRs to assess the burden and cost of disease

Extensive knowledge of and experience with clinical and outcomes research applied to retrospective and prospective HEOR research

Superior written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in communicating clinical technical information to varied internal and customer audiences

Refined methodological, quantitative and analytical skills

Strong track record in HEOR study methodology, statistics, data reporting and resource development

Thorough understanding of legal and regulatory issues impacting HEOR and PRO labeling.
