With the introduction of technology, one of the sectors that greatly benefit the advantage of it is the health sector. Many unusual diseases are easily given an antidote because of the collaborations between medical world and technology. In this age, technology becomes one of the great allies for medical research.

Meanwhile, with the expansion of clinical research, many administrative jobs such as overseeing and coordinating research projects, collecting data and other aspects with regards to human compliance has been added as well. Due to this fact, a Clinical Research Administrative job has been created. This is the one of the newly created role established to assist in the supervision and development of the overall infrastructure of the research program.

One of the major roles of a clinical research administrator is overseeing and coordinating research projects, funding, budgets, intellectual property, human resources and other related endeavors with regards to medical research. Most of the time, clinical research administrator needs to work closely with the research division to ensure appropriate financial management and other aspect needed for the flawless execution of the project. He or she will be the main contact of the program in communicating with all internal and external stakeholders.



To be in this position, having a previous medical jobs experience and strong working knowledge about medical terminologies is a must. To be successful in this field, a clinical research administrator should develop and implement recruitment strategies and procedures and liaison with clinical and other community contacts as needed. Data collection strategies and statistical analysis should also be well coordinated with all the members of the research team.

Human resources jobs such as hiring and training staff are also expected to perform by the administrator. The ability to work under time pressure and the ability to assume higher level of responsibility and accountability are one of the characteristics of a reliable and dependable clinical research administrator.
