The Clinical research assistant is an employed assistant often on a temporary contract by a research institute, or research center. Their purpose consists of assisting doctors, scientists, microbiologists and biochemists in research.

Clinical research assistants are professionals that do not deal with the results of research but are there to help doctors and medical staff. Usually these assistants are often enrolled in medical programs, and have, or are looking for some type of medical degree. Most medical centers require a pursuit in a medical field to participate. Most the time the assistant is appointed at an apprentice level, but they can also be appointed to support research as well. One can assist a senior technician with dealing and enrolling medical subjects, and helping with maintenance and managing applications. Similarly a highly qualified research assistant who has recently passed a medical examination can advance to a senior clinical research assistant until they can find a higher career in the medical field they can pursue.

Generally in entry level jobs in clinical research assistants are employed by laboratories, and well established clinics. In job search, we can find these types of jobs with slight differences. However, in job search it is said these jobs require extra skills as we deal with medical terminology and clinical subjects.



Clinical Research Assistants are responsible to monitor results of medical diagnoses. In medical jobs, they collect completed true information of the study, to further on the success of later medical problems. Medical studies like psychology and pathology are some examples were this is a necessary job. To put it short they make sure equipment devices, products, and medicines being developed for society work properly for the diagnoses of a similar symptom.
